After signing Garcia, Aguero, Depay and Emerson, the Blaugrana continue racking up a really competitive team to challenge all the three titles next season.
Memphis Depay only recently joined Barcelona to team up with his former Dutch boss in Ronald Koeman and fellow national teammate in Frenkie de Jong. The club announced the signing of the former Olympique Lyon forward’s transfer only two days back.
In other developments, Barcelona have reached an agreement with the French club Marseille over the sale of winger Konrad De La Fuente for $3.5 million as per the Spanish publication AS.
The American winger struggled to get minutes last season and with the attack that is present for the next season, it is highly unlikely that he will find a way to beat the likes of Aguero and Depay to play some first-team football.
Barcelona have managed to retain 50% of the rights of the American winger, though. Konard was a key part of the Barcelona B team, and it is a real shame that he never got the chance to showcase his skills, playing for the first team.
According to Spanish media outlet Sport, Barca are keeping a close eye on Eintracht Frankfurt’s Andre Silva. The 25-year-old has established himself as one of the better strikers in the game in recent times, and the Blaugrana believes that his game is suited to their style of play, prompting the former La Liga champions to sign him this summer.
However, the Portuguese striker is valued at €45 million, but the German side may just sell him for €35 million. The only catch to this situation is that Manchester City is also interested in signing the 25-year-old and that Barcelona needs to sell before they can buy. With 28 goals from 32 games, Silva is certainly a good option on the market for the former La Liga champions.
Junior Firpo is another player who struggled to get minutes under Ronald Koeman last season, and with the former Netherlands boss set to continue, Firpo could be on his way out this summer. Firpo has attracted interest from England and Italy but the player does not want to play in England. Italian clubs in Napoli, Milan and Inter are the teams said to be interested in the 24-year-old.
Barcelona want to sell the player, but Rossoneri want to secure the player’s signature on a loan deal with the option to buy. With the likes of West Ham and Southampton said to be ready to pay £16 million for the full-back, AC Milan may be prompted to engage in a player-swap deal with the Blaugrana.
Romagnoli is the player said to have been offered by Milan, but Kessie and Tonali are said to be the players that the Blaugrana is said to be interested in. The deal may be complicated with the Serie A side, but Firpo is set to leave the club this summer.
