India defender Rahul Bheke has joined reigning ISL champions on a two-year contract.
Bheke was the star of the ISL final of 2019 as he scored the winner for eventual champions Bengaluru. He has also made 13 appearances for India after making his debut against Curacao in 2019.
In total, he has made 92 appearances in the ISL till date. He has also scored five goals and has assisted an equal number of times.

The feeling of representing your city and your people is what makes this game more special for me, and I did not have to think twice when the opportunity to join Mumbai City came about,”

the 30-year-old joining Mumbai side.
The 30-year-old began his career with the U-19 Mahindra United side and went on to play for I-League teams like Air India, Mumbai Tigers and Mumbai FC thereafter. He also joined East Bengal in 2015 and then went on to enjoy multiple stints in the ISL with Kerala Blasters, Pune City FC and Bengaluru FC during the last five years.
Having joined a champion side like Mumbai City, Bheke will also get a chance to play in the 2022 AFC Champions League.
Mumbai manager Sergio Lobera is also very happy with his latest signing. Bheke’s versatility and ability to deliver perfect and accurate crosses and play on both sides of the pitch made Lobera go for the full-back.
