Dabangg Delhi KC won their tie against the Thalaivas on the back of yet another super 10 by Naveen Kumar, who scored a total of 13 raid points. Thailavas were not behind as far as raiding is concerned, as they too scored the same number of raid points as Delhi. Their raiding department was led by Manjeet, who also took a Super 10.

The Thailavas were trailing by 17-10 at the end of the first half, but they managed to make a comeback. Sagar, the league’s top defender this season, didn’t do much as he could only score two tackle points for the Thailavas. While for Delhi’s Joginder Narwal scored three tackle points.

This win has solidified DDKC’s position in the top two for the playoffs, while the Thailavas’ playoff hopes look slim now.

U Mumba beat Bengal Warriors by 37-27 and have given themselves a realistic chance of qualifying for the playoffs.

The Mumbai based franchise was led by their captain Fazel Atrachali who had his best game of the tournament as he finished with eight tackle points. He was ably supported by Rinku Singh, who earned five tackle points.

Bengal Warriors raiders had an off day, most particularly Maninder Singh, who managed just six raid points. For Mumba, V Ajith and Abishek scored nine and eight raid points, respectively.

This win rose U Mumba to the sixth spot in the standings while the defending champions are almost out of the race for the next stage.

It’s not going well for Telugu Titans in season 8 of the Pro Kabaddi League as their nightmarish season continues. They lost to Puneri Paltan by 51-31 on Saturday.

The Titans have won just one game out of the 19 they have played and they are already out from the race of the playoffs. It was expected that they would play without any pressure, but it wasn’t to be as PP decimated them.

The Pune charge was led by Aslam Imandar and Mohit Goyat yet again as they both scored super 10s. In defence, Sombir and Vishal Bhardwaj scored six tackle points each.

Ankit Beniwal’s efforts of 11 points went in vain for the Titans as he didn’t get much support from other players.

This win has given Puneri Paltan a realistic chance to qualify for the playoffs if they win their remaining games and a couple of other results go their way.
