Bengaluru Bulls have been playing non-stop in the Pro Kabaddi League season 8 as four out of the 12 sides in the tournament had a coronavirus scare in their camps, which has forced the organisers to constantly change the schedule.
Changes in schedule meant that the Bulls were playing more games with less recovery time. That was reflected in their performance as the Bulls’ defence, which did quite well in the earlier part of the league, took a hit as the league went on. Prior to their Tuesday’s 31-26 win against UP Yoddhas, the Bulls had lost five out of their last six games.

The captain and the coach, Pawan Kumar Sherawat and Randhir Singh Sherawat, had expressed their disappointment with how the defence was performing.
But in the game against the Yoddhas, the Bulls defence was back in form. Out of the 31 points, 15 came from tackle points. Aman picked seven tackle points, while Saurabh Nandal added four.
Randhir Singh Sherawat was all praise for his team as he said that he was happy with the team’s performance, as both the defence and offence played well. He also spoke highly of the leadership demonstrated by captain Pawan Kumar Sherawat on the night.
Randhir was particularly happy with the performance of Aman. He told the reporters that he has been working with the player for around six months now and the results are now showing. Randhir believes that Aman would prove to be one of the best defenders in the future.

Pawan Kumar Sherawat also highlighted the effort put in by his team’s defenders. He is of the opinion that if the defence and offence complement each other well, then the Bulls would easily qualify for the playoffs.
“The defence took a conscious call to play well before the game against the Yoddhas. The coach and I had nothing to do to motivate the defenders.
The defenders were itching to set things right against the Yoddhas and I’m happy that the defenders could execute their skills,”
Pawan said, as per Sportskeeda.
