In yet another high-scoring game between PP and UP Yoddhas the Pro Kabaddi League season 8, the Paltan emerged victorious by 44-38, thereby taking a revenge on their last loss against the Yoddhas when they had lost the game 50-40.
It was anticipated even before the game had begun that the raiders would have a fair say in the end result of the game, and that is exactly what happened in the game.
Ended at 22-18 in favour of Paltan, the first half saw a lot of action as in the opening eight minutes itself, PP inflicted an all-out. However, the Yoddhas fought their way back into the game as they reduced the lead of Paltan by giving them an all-out in the last few minutes of the first half.
The raiding duties for the Paltan was carried out by youngsters Aslam Imandar and Mohit Goyat. Aslam started the game with a super raid, which was also the first raid of the match. He finished the game with nine raid points and three tackle points. Goyat, in turn, completed his fifth Super 10 of the season, scoring a total of 14 raid points.
The Yoddhas tried to find their way back after the break, but the opposition didn’t give them an inch. The Paltan inflicted the 2nd all out on the Yoddhas in the 27th minute in the second half. Paltan were crushing to a victory, but Surinder Gill, just like he did in the last game between the two sides, started to get multi-points in his raids.
Because of his efforts, the Yoddhas were able to inflict a second all-out on the Paltan with four minutes left into the game. The gap also reduced to just four points. But Gill’s 16 raid points in the game was not enough for the Yoddhas to win the game as other raiders didn’t support him at all.

This was the third win in a row for the Paltan, who now would hope that they can continue this momentum going ahead.
