The match 78th in the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season 8 between U Mumba and Bengaluru Bulls here on Wednesday was as one sided as it could get. U Mumba, meeting the Bulls for the 2nd time in the season, beat them again by a huge margin of 45-34.
The star for Mumba was their raider Abhishek Singh who scored 11 raid points, thereby completing yet another Super 10. He was supported by Rahul Sethpal, who scored a quick high 5 in the first half itself. He ended the game with seven tackle points.
Ajith also contributed seven raid points which was significant in Mumba’s win. Despite getting out several times during the match, Fazel earned three crucial tackle points.
For Bengaluru Bulls it was yet again a one-man show as Pawan Kumar Sherawat completed his Super 10 in the first half itself. He got a total of 14 raid points in the game, but he didn’t get the support Abhishek got from his support raiders.
The defence of the Bulls also didn’t do much as only Saurabh Nandal managed four tackle points, but other than him, no one could manage even more than two tackle points.
U Mumba started the game pretty well as they inflicted an all-out on the Bulls in the first half itself, they took a good lead. However, Sherawat was in no mood to let go of the match so easily that he was at his raiding best as the Bulls too inflicted an all-out just before the first half ended.
The score at the end of the first half was 22-20 in favour of Mumba. The scorecard might indicate that the match was close, but it wasn’t as it was only Pawan who was scoring for the Bulls.

In the second half, Pawan Kumar Sherawat couldn’t fire much as Mumba inflicted a couple more all-out, which resulted in them getting a healthy lead.
The Bulls were found chasing the game in the second half for most of the half. Eventually, it was too much for them to even close the gap to seven points so that they could have taken 1 point out of the game.
