The Vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 8 action continued on Monday with a doubleheader. The defending champions Bengal Warriors took on the inaugural champions Jaipur Pink Panthers in the first game of the night.

He was supported by Raj Singh in the defence as he scored four tackle points. The Warriors inflicted three all-outs on JPP, which ensured that they were always ahead in the game.
For the Panthers, Arjun Deswal tried his best as he also scored a Super 10. But his performance went in vain as no one else supported him.
Bengal are now third on the points table while the season 1 champions are eighth.
The second game of the night was one-sided as well as Puneri Paltan beat last season’s runners up Dabangg Delhi by 42-25.
Delhi is still missing two of their important players in Naveen Kumar and Joginder Narwal. And that has made all the difference in Delhi’s dismal performances in the last three games.
Paltan displayed an all-round game as their two young players were on fire. Mohit Goyat and Aslam Imandar scored 17 points in total, which made a lot of difference to the game as no player from Delhi could match their performance.
Sombir scored six tackle points for the Paltan, which meant that Delhi raiders were kept quiet for most of the game.
Vijay and Neeraj tried to bridge the gap between the two sides, but Pune inflicted three all-outs on Delhi, which took the game away from the grasp of the Dabangs’.
After this win, Puneri Paltan are still at 10th position, and even after the loss, DDKC are still second, sitting three points shy of table-toppers Bengaluru Bulls.
But Delhi would hope that Naveen Kumar returns for them as soon as possible.
