The Bulls got back on the winning track in the Pro Kabaddi League as they defeated Haryana Steelers in a stunning fashion. Skipper Pawan Sehrawat was the star of the show as the highflyer picked up 21 points to register his first 20-plus raid point performance this season.
The Haryana Steelers had no answers for Pawan tonight as the raider was just unstoppable. He received great support from his teammates in defence that kept Vikash Kandola in control for the majority of the game.
GB more played a great support role to Sehrawat, picking up the Steelers’ raiders, keeping the opposition vulnerable for Pawan. The Bulls will be very happy with their win, and fans will expect the skipper to continue his dominance in the upcoming games.
HS will have to bounce back from the defeat, and their captain Vikash Kandola will have to rally his troops for their upcoming fixture against the Gujarat Giants.
V Ajith Kumar & Abhisekh Singh shine as U Mumba emerge triumphant over JPP
The duo put on a spectacular raiding performance to win U Mumba’s game against the Jaipur Pink Panthers with a 37-28 scoreline. Deshwal scored his fourth consecutive Super 10 and finished with 14 points on the night.
Both teams played sound defence at the start, preventing their opponents from picking up easy points. Ajith’s Super Raid flipped the script on the contest when the Pink Panthers led 5-4. As he added another touchpoint to his total, teammate Abhishek Singh inflicted the game’s first all out by taking care of Pink Panthers’ final two players.
As a result, the Panthers were reduced to only two players on the mat after U Mumba’s defence tackled Deshwal to keep him on the bench.
Despite stepping up to Super Tackle Ajith and Abhishek in succession, Jaipur’s defence was too little, too late as U Mumba won by nine points.
