After finishing the white-ball tour to South Africa, Pakistan will be travelling to Zimbabwe for a 20-day tour in which they will play a three-match T20I series and a couple of Test matches. The games at Harare Sports Club and there will be no spectators.
Pakistan’s tour of Zimbabwe, which be held in April and May, will be played behind closed doors. The tour comprises three T20Is, and two Test matches. Pakistan will be on the road for almost a couple of months. They have already landed in South Africa for their tour, consisting of three ODIs and four T20Is.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has been at the forefront of the revival of international cricket in the post-Covid-19 world and the tour of Zimbabwe is another step in that direction.
We have always maintained that cricket and Covid-19 can co-exist in a safe and secure environment, and we continue to demonstrate this to ensure the game develops and flourishes in these difficult and challenging times,
Pakistan’s Director of International Cricket Zakir Khan was quoted saying on March 28 (Sunday).
