Reigning Serie A champions and league leaders Inter Milan are already planning for the summer ahead. The Nerazzurri are keen to refresh their squad by adding Gleison Bremer of Torino along with Sassuolo pair, Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Frattesi.
Without making a splurge and a statement in the winter like their rivals Juventus, champions Inter Milan quietly bolstered their ranks by adding Robin Gosens and Felipe Caicedo from Atalanta and Genoa, respectively.
The Nerazzurri also entered a pre-contractual agreement with Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana for next season, signing the Cameroon international on a free transfer from the Amsterdam club. With their new team beginning to take shape, the Serie A table-toppers are already planning further additions in the summer, including three of the league’s best performers this season.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Inter have marked Torino’s Gleison Bremer as a priority target for summer 2022. The Brazilian has been one of the standout central defenders in the league, reliable and ever-present in the heart of defense for Ivan Juric’s team, which has conceded the fourth-fewest goals in the division.

Further forward, the Nerazzurri have eyes on Sassuolo duo Davide Frattesi and Gianluca Scamacca. A key player for AC Monza in the second division a season before, Frattesi has handled the transition to Serie A seamlessly, occupying the role behind the attackers, tasked with keeping the play moving and shielding his defence.
His teammate Scamacca has similarly demonstrated his ability to lead the line for a higher-caliber team; the 23-year-old forward has scored nine goals in just over 1200 minutes this season for the European challengers Sassuolo, one more than he scored for Genoa on loan the year before.
Along with new additions, Inter are also working on keeping hold of several key players. The club is currently negotiating a contract renewal with the influential Marcelo Brozovic and has plans to enter talks with Ivan Perisic and Samir Handanovic in the weeks ahead.
All three have contracts expiring at the end of the current season, along with stalwarts Andrea Ranocchia, Danilo d’Ambrosio, and Arturo Vidal.
