The match no between Haryana Steelers and Telugu Titans on Tuesday ended in a thrilling tie. It was the 15th tied game of the ongoing edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.
Haryana Steelers were leading for the most part of the first half as they inflicted an all-out on the Titans in the very early stages of the half. They were leading 14-9 before the last minute of the first half when the Titans made a brilliant comeback to give the Steelers their first all out of the game. The score at the end of the first half read 20-19 in favour of the Steelers.
In the second half, the Titans inflicted an all-out on the Steelers for the second time and took their lead to 30-28 in the 30th minute. The last four minutes then saw the Steelers making a comeback again as in the 37th minute they too inflicted a second all out on the Titans and took a lead of 38-33.
Haryana could not manage to keep their lead as the Titans picked up six more points in the last couple of minutes, including a fine tackle in the last raid of the game to equal Haryana’s score.
Jaideep again played well in defence for the Steelers, scoring four tackle points, and Vikas Khandola completed his fifth Super 10 of the season.
For the Titans, Rohit Kumar was back on the mat, and he looked fitter than before, which should give some hope to the Titans fans. Rohit Kumar got points not only in raids but in defence as well. He scored five raid points and three tackle points.
