Bengal Warriors pulled off a last-minute upset against the Jaipur Pink Panthers in Match 30 on matchday thirteen. Maninder Singh and Mohammed Nabibaksh super-tackled Arjun Deshwal off the last raid to secure a three-point win for their side.
The Panthers were trailing by a point in the final raid, and it was upon Arjun Deshwal to at least secure a draw for his team, faring against a two-man defense in Mohammad Nabibaksh and Maninder Singh, the raider failed to secure a point and got tackles by the duo.
Both Nabibakash and Singh were stellar for the Warriors, as they picked up thirteen and ten points respectively, leading their side to a much-needed win. Barring the two players, none of the other Bengal players looked composed and will have up their performance in the upcoming games.
Arjun Deshwal was brilliant for his team, emerging as the best raider of the encounter, scoring sixteen points. The player did not receive enough support from his teammates. Skipper Deepak Niwas Hooda looked off-colour, scoring only five points.
