Haryana Steelers have named Vikas Kondola as their skipper for the eighth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.
With the Pro Kabaddi League right around the corner, Haryana Steelers have announced star raider Vikas Kondola as their skipper for the upcoming season starting December 22.
The Haryana Steelers will go head-to-head against three-time champions Patna Pirates on the 23rd of December in Bengaluru. Kondola was stellar for the Steelers last season, racking 195 points.
The franchise finished fifth last season and will hope that their newly appointed skipper can lead them to the title this season. Vikas seemed ecstatic after being named as the new captain,
“I am honoured and humbled to be named the captain of Haryana Steelers. I have been with this team for the last three seasons and have loved every minute with the side.”
He then added about the quality of players the franchise had, ensuring fans the team will perform well this season.
“I will certainly put my hundred percent in every match and lead the team to the best of my abilities. We have got a great mix of experience and young talent and will give our all throughout the tournament.”

Haryana Steelers will surely be happy with their picks throughout the 2021 Pro Kabaddi League auction. The franchise has managed to make some great signings to bolster their ranks with the addition of Rohit Gulia, Esmaeil Maghsodlou, Hamid Mirzaei, Vikas Jaglan, and Surender Nada.
Steelers managed to hold onto some of their big names apart from Vikas Kondola including Vikas Chillar & Chand Singh and, will hope that these players perform to the best of their abilities.
