The Saturday doubleheader in the Caribbean Premier League saw St Kitts and Nevis Patriots smash Guyana Amazon Warriors by eight wickets and Barbados Royals edge past Jamaica Tallawahs by 15 runs.  The Warriors expected the surface to slow down and hence decided to bat first. Men in Blue made a strong comeback on the third day of the third Test at Headingley, ending the day on 215/2 on the back of terrific innings from Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli. All is not lost for India, who were in a hopeless situation at the end of the second day, with England leading by 345 runs. Former Pakistan skipper and the current head coach Misbah ul Haq Pakistan coach has been found coronavirus positive and will stay back in Jamaica to complete a 10-day quarantine. “Misbah has tested positive and, as such, will not depart for Lahore with his side later today. England suffered another big blow as Mark Wood joins the long list of injured English players and has been ruled out of the third Test against India at Headingley, scheduled to start on August 25. Wood, who has had shoulder issues in the past, damaged his shoulder while diving on the boundary line on the fourth day of the Lord’s Test.
