After missing the Sri Lanka tour, Indian middle-order batsman has been ruled out of Lancashire’s Royal London One-Day Cup campaign due to the extensive rehabilitation programme he is undergoing after shoulder surgery. Iyer had signed with the prominent county club in the UK to play matches of England’s premier domestic List A competition this summer but can’t go ahead with the stint now as he continues to recover in India. South Africa couldn’t get going with the bat, and it took Kagiso Rabada’s 17-run final over to help them post 165 in their 20 overs. However, they were absolutely clinical with the ball. Bangladesh were able to secure victory in the second ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare on Sunday despite twice suffering a collapse in their chase, thanks to an excellent saviour act from all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan.
