On September 11, Cristiano Ronaldo has announced his return to Manchester United with a brace against Newcastle United. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner then followed it up with another goal against Young Boys in the Champions League.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus forward has returned to United after 12 years for an initial £12million fee and has completely changed the outlook of the Premier League. Recently United reserve goalkeeper Lee Grant told talkSPORT how none of the players ate dessert at the team dinner as they saw Ronaldo eating quinoa and avocado.
Birmingham City striker Troy Deeney also joked that he would do anything that Ronaldo does at 36 if it meant to perform like the Portuguese icon.
”That story had the ring of truth about it. I’d have been the same if Ronaldo had walked into my dressing room.
If I saw Ronaldo eating horse s*** for a pre-match meal, I’d eat horse s*** too!,”
the former Watford forward has written in his column for The Sun.
Ronaldo has an insanely toned body with minimal fat percentage. He takes a lot of care of his body and always eats right, following a strict and meticulous diet. According to reports, the Portuguese eats very often in 3-4 hour intervals, but he eats only in little quantities.
