“Kaib got a big knock on his jaw during a game a while ago. He just continued training, and of course eating. Well, he ate a carrot and that carrot was quite hard. And then, crack: broken jaw. a carrot,”
de Vries explained.
Kaib represented Sweden at the U19 from 2016 till 2017. Despite being born in Sweden, he is of Lebanese descent from his mother, and his father is a Tunisian. He did confirm in an interview that he has no intentions of representing Tunisia or Lebanon in the coming years.
Heerenveen off to a decent start in Eredivisie
Heerenveen are fourth in the Eredivisie table, having picked up 7 points in their opening four games. They have some tight clashes coming up that include an away trip to Feyenoord, and they host Ajax right after the October international break.
Having finished with a measly 39-point tally last season, the Frisian club are eager to finish in the top half of the table and potentially fight for a European spot. PSV are currently topping the league table in the Netherlands, with four wins in their first four games.
