Zimbabwe Cricket have named squads that will travel to Ireland and Scotland for their upcoming T20I and ODI series. Craig Ervine, Brendan Taylor and Sean Williams are all set to return to the national set-up after missing Bangladesh series in July.
In July, Craig Ervine and Sean Williams were supposed to be a part of the team, but they came in contact with people who tested positive for COVID-19. Brendan Taylor, in turn, was rested for that tour.
Barring the inclusion of these three cricketers, there are no other notable inclusions or exclusions from the team, as Zimbabwe have named a similar squad to what they had for the Bangladesh tour. While they did not perform well in ODIs and Test against the Tigers, Sikandar Raza & Co. showed some fight in the T20I series.
Zimbabwe will now travel to Ireland, where they will clash with the men in green for five T20Is and three ODIs. The T20I series will commence from August 27, while the ODI series will be held between 8th-13th September. Following that, they will travel to Scotland, where they will take on Kyle Coetzee’s men for three T20I matches.
