Bhuvneshwar Kumar has opened up about MS Dhoni and lauded the former Indian skipper for the kind of human being he is. Moreover, Bhuvneshwar admitted that Dhoni is one of the most helpful people going around and is always there to guide the youngsters.
MS Dhoni may have retired from international cricket in August 2020, but his impact on the Indian team and the youngsters was massive. There are a lot of cricketers who have openly admitted the influence and effect that Dhoni has had on their careers. As a cricketer, the former Indian skipper’s calm demeanour and helpful nature are also talked about quite a bit.
Kumar became the latest one to do so. The 30th of June was noted as the Social Media Day, and on that occasion, the BCCI sent out a video with Bhuvneshwar reliving his Instagram memories. He went through various pictures that he posted on Instagram and spoke about the moment or the reason why he posted it.
It was during this chat that the ace Indian fast bowler spoke highly of Dhoni. He was all praise for his former captain and admitted that Dhoni was an excellent human being. Moreover, Bhuvneshwar said that the Ranchi-born is always ready to help and guide the youngsters.
“I think I posted that on his retirement. Everyone knows what kind of a player he is. But I posted to explain what kind of human being he is.
He always helps others. If you speak to anybody about Dhoni, they will all tell you about how helpful he is. He always gives guidance to all the youngsters,”

Bhuvneshwar is a part of India’s white-ball squad that will face Sri Lanka and is currently quarantining in Colombo ahead of the ODI and T20I series. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni’s next assignment will be the second half of the IPL 2021.
