RR’s David Miller regarded CSK’s MS Dhoni as one of his favourite cricketers and the best finisher he has ever seen in his career. The South African left-hander also admitted that he loves Dhoni’s calm demeanour and his humble nature.
There is absolutely no doubt MS Dhoni is one of the best finishers that the game has ever seen in white-ball cricket. He is one of India’s most successful captains and he is arguably one of the best wicket-keeper batters to have donned the Indian jersey in the history of the game.
Dhoni’s white-ball game and his ability to close out games is highly rated all around the world. In fact, there are quite a few cricketers who look up him and the Ranchi-born cricketer is a role model.
Hence, it is no surprise that Dhoni is one of Miller’s favourite cricketers. On Wednesday, he did a question and answer session on Twitter.
“Quarantine made me do this! Send in your questions using #AskMiller and I’ll try to answer as many as I can #AskMeAnything,”
Miller tweeted initially.
Replying to that tweet, a fan asked him to give a few words on MS Dhoni.
Apart from that, Miller also named Virat Kohli as his favourite batsman in the world at the moment. He also said he named himself when he was asked about the best fielder in the world currently.
Miller is currently in South Africa and is scheduled to fly to the Caribbean. He is a part of the South African T20I side which will face West Indies in a five-match T20I series, starting on the 26th of June.
The southpaw has been in good form this year. He has got 116 runs in three T20I games and has a strike-rate of 156.75. He even scored 102 runs, including a match-winning 62, while playing for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2021.
