“Taking forward our commitment towards women’s cricket, I am extremely pleased to announce that Team India will play in their first-ever pink ball day-night Test later this year in Australia,”
Jay Shah, The BCCI secretary, had tweeted announcing the news.
Meanwhile, India women’s team members have been undergoing a hard quarantine of 14 days in Mumbai since May 19. On the completion of the quarantine, they will fly to the UK on June 2 in a chartered flight along with the India men’s cricket team.
