Spurs have challenged on multiple fronts over the years but failed to cap their dominance with a trophy. They’ve come close to winning the Premier League and the Champions League in the past but to no avail.
Tottenham will be reluctant to entertain bids from their league rivals, albeit the England international is hoping that the club grants him a leave based on the services he has provided them over the years.
Nonetheless, even if the London club permits him to leave, it will demand an exorbitant fee from any rival hoping to sign him. Kane’s preference is to remain in the Premier League, though, and he is drawing interest from both the Manchester giants and Chelsea.
Both Chelsea and Manchester City are expected to target him – the former due to their goal-scoring woes and the latter due to the departure of Sergio Aguero. United, in turn, have recently extended Edinson Cavani’s stay at the club and could step away from the Kane battle to focus on other key areas of their squad.
