Indian pacer spearhead Mohammed Siraj, who made his Test debut against Down Under in December last year claimed that he wants to take as many wickets as he can for his country. Siraj impressed after he took a fifer at the Gabba.
Despite losing his father while he was still on Australia tour, Mohammad Siraj put all the emotions behind and emerged as the star for Team India. The right arm pacer recently said that he wants to be the leading wicket-taker for the country and in order to achieve this dream, he will always work his hardest.
Siraj will next be seen featuring for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 beginning April 9. In the first match of the tournament, his side will be up against defending champions Mumbai Indians.
Talking about how much support he has had from his teammates, he said that Jasprit Bumrah used to stand beside him whenever he was bowling. He said that Bumrah told him to stick to the basics and not do something extra or out of the ordinary.
Siraj claimed that he learned a lot after talking to such an experienced player. Mentioning Ishant Sharma, who has played 100 Tests, he said that it felt good to share the dressing room with him.

Siraj said in a video posted on the official Twitter handle of RCB.
The pacer from Hyderabad had made his Test debut against Australia in December last year. He managed to impress one and all and he even took a fifer at the Gabba. During the Australia tour, he faced several difficulties but he managed to get past all of them.
He then also went on to play Test matches against England during the home series earlier this year. Talking about his bond with India bowling coach Bharat Arun, Siraj said: that Arun treats him like a son.
When I talk to him, it boosts my confidence,
Siraj said.
Talking about his IPL 2020 campaign, he said that initially , he was low on confidence, but when I started bowling with the new ball, things started to fall in place.
Siraj would have to play a major in guiding RCB through to the play-offs in the 2021 IPL edition.
