Pogba, Rudiger & Aubameyang on their way out; Newcastle to swoop in on Fiorentina star and more

Recently taken-over Newcastle United are hoping to hijack the transfer of Dusan Vlahovic from their Premier League as they look to compete with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham in their bid to secure the services of the Fiorentina striker, a deal that could set them back by 100 million pounds.

Veteran Chelsea defenders Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta have reportedly on the move, and have instructed their agents to find new clubs for them in the January transfer window. The club can potenially face another exit, with contract talks with in-form centre-back Antonio Rudiger not progressing as well as the Blues would have hoped.

The German, whose contract ends in June 2022, could leave Stamford Bridge, with Manchester United being one of the possible destinations, as per some reputable sources. Another player unhappy with his role at the European Champions is Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech, who has not played as much as he would have liked after arriving from Ajax a couple of years ago. Borussia Dortmund are understood to have been keeping a close eye on the situation and could make a move should things escalate.

Another Fiorentina player who could move away from the club is Serbian midfielder Nikola Milenkovic, amid interest from Spurs’ managing director Fabio Paratici, who has been an admirer of his talent.

Manchester United’s second-choice goalkeeper Dean Henderson is open to a move away from the club, with Ajax being a possible destination for the Englishman. Henderson is unhappy with his playing time and would be willing to move elsewhere in the January transfer window.

Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s relations with manager Mikel Arteta have reportedly soured in recent times, and he could well be on his way to Barcelona, although the situation could depend on a promise he made to his grandfather, that he would play for their arch-rivals Real Madrid.

The efflux of players at Chelsea could accelerate with former manager and current AS Roma boss Jose Mourinho reportedly interested in midfielder Ruben Loften-Cheek.

Meanwhile, Barca boss Xavi has directed officials not to attempt to bring United midfielder Paul Pogba in the summer, after a meeting with his controversial agent Mino Raiola.

United’s wunderkind forward Mason Greenwood faces interest from Arsenal, Barcelona, and Juventus, but it is extremely unlikely that the English giants would let go of him. However, Anthony Elanga is set to sign an extension at the club after impressing new German coach Ralf Rangnick.
