Aaron Ramsdale’s brilliant diving effort in Arsenal’s Premier League game against Leicester was one of the standout moments in game week 10, but the subsequent matches saw some movements at the top of the table.

    Three goals.
    Three points.
    Top of the League.

Chelsea extended their lead at the pinnacle of the Premier League standings with a 3-0 win over Newcastle. Reece James’ brace put Thomas Tuchel’s side in a great spot before Jorginho slotted one of his trademark penalties past Karl Darlow. The nearest teams to the Blues – Liverpool and Manchester City – dropped points against lesser opposition.

Liverpool started brilliantly against Brighton as skipper Jordan Henderson opened the scoring in the 4th minute. Sadio Mane doubled their lead 20 minutes later, and the Senegalese international almost added another before halftime. However, the goal was chalked off, and Brighton took this as an opportunity to come back and subsequently managed to take a point from Anfield.

Crystal Palace defeated Manchester City at Etihad, with goals from Wilfred Zaha and Conor Gallagher. Aymeric Laporte was sent off just before halftime, and the reigning champions never posed a serious threat to Vincente Guaita’s clean sheet. This leaves Pep Guardiola’s men five points adrift from leaders Chelsea. The Londoners hold a three-point lead over Liverpool.

Manchester United bounced back from last weekend’s humiliation by Liverpool as they beat Tottenham 3-0. The Red Devils’ frontline had a field day as Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford all found themselves on the scoresheet.

Arsenal continued their fine form under Mikel Arteta in a win over Leicester City. The Gunners have now joined United in the top 6 of the league.

Southampton got the better of Watford at Vicarage Road courtesy of a goal by Che Adams. Burnley registered their first win of the campaign by thumping Brentford 3-1. As a result, they are no longer in the relegation zone.
